OUR HISTORY
The company was founded in 1954 by Alcide Ouellet and his wife Chantale. At the time, the brand sold was Ferguson. Three years later, it became Massey Ferguson. The dealership enjoyed success in the '60s with the famous MF135 and MF165, and in the '70s Alcide made a name for himself in his field by marketing forestry skidders. Around 1980, Landini completed the product range already offered by Massey Ferguson tractors. Each child contributes to the smooth running of the company: Louise, Gisèle, Gilbert, Jean-Pierre and Johanne. In 1987, Gilbert and Jean-Pierre join their father to found Alcide Ouellet et Fils Inc. Under Alcide's supervision, they join forces to grow the business. A new repair shop is built. Over the years, new brands were added, including Valtra, Krone, Kverneland, Pronovost and many others... In 2011, Mickael and René-Pierre joined forces with their father, Jean-Pierre, and uncle Gilbert.
Today, the company has 25 employees.It offers a diversified range of products, including tractors and equipment for the agricultural and forestry sectors, both residential and commercial.Alcide Ouellet & Fils' strength lies in the excellent after-sales service offered by its dynamic, loyal and qualified staff.With passion and dedication, the owners of this third-generation family business are ready to carry on the work of its founder.
